Dear Parent/Guardian
The 2022 Cross Country for Ingleburn High School will be held on Wednesday 11 May at Ingleburn High School and Wood Park (adjacent).
Each year group will participate in the Cross Country race during one allocated period of the school day. Students will attend normal lessons for all other periods that day.
Period 1: Year 7
Period 2: Year 10
Period 3: Year 8 and Support
Period 4: Year 9
Students are required to wear their sports uniform to school on Wednesday 11 May. Students should also remember to bring a hat and a water bottle to stay hydrated.
Participation in the Cross Country race is compulsory, as sport and physical activities are vital in the physical and mental development of children. Absences will need to be appropriately justified.
The Cross Country race will run on the date provided above. In the case of extreme weather, students will attend classes as normal.
Year 11 and 12 students who would like to progress to Zone Cross Country can submit their times to Miss Isaacson or Mr Sarjana.
Based on current requirements, a COVID-19 safety plan will be put in place to ensure the safety of all students and staff.
