D Block Technology Hub

In 2017, planning got underway for revamping D Block. It is our Industrial Arts block and has been looking a little tired.

It is being transformed into Ingleburn High School's Technology Hub! An area where innovative, project based learning can occur with lots of the latest technology and new gadgets.

Careful planning around the use of learning spaces, furniture, lighting, robotics and computers has been occurring with Ingleburn High School's Technology Action Team providing great insight and direction.

Funding has been put aside for the project which includes but is not limited to the following items:

  • Removal of a Wall to create a larger, group learning environment
  • Painting of 2 classrooms with a third planned for Term 3
  • New blinds in 3 rooms
  • New custom built computer benching
  • 16 iPad's and iPad trolley
  • Additional 50 PC's, adding to the existing 24 PC's and 20 laptops currently in D Block
  • Air Conditioning of 2 classrooms
  • Collaborative learning spaces with 42" LED displays for students to design and test pieces of work
  • New soft furnishings

Stay tuned for updates as they happen! Detailed pictures of the project will appear on the school's website as well as Facebook.

We look forward to providing an environment where all students will be able to develop and grow their skills in the use of STEAM.
