The Ingleburn High School difference
A strong start
Our school welcomes all students from all backgrounds. We help every child feel safe, included and ready to learn from their very first day.
Growth in the classroom and beyond
We offer our students a wide range of subjects and opportunities. This empowers them to learn, develop skills, and discover their passions.
Support for every family
Our teachers and learning and wellbeing support teams work with our families. We co-design plans that help students learn in the way that works best for them.
Principal's message
Welcome to Ingleburn High School, a proud, dynamic and inclusive community where every student is known, valued and empowered to learn, grow and experience beyond school success.
At IHS, we are deeply committed to delivering excellence and equity for all learners. Our work is guided by the CAPE Collective, our whole school focus on Curriculum, Assessment, Pedagogy and Engagement. This shared approach ensures that every student experiences high quality teaching, personalised support and meaningful opportunities to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
We believe that strong relationships are the foundation of successful learning. Our dedicated teachers, support staff and leaders work collaboratively to create safe, respectful and engaging learning environments where high expectations and wellbeing go hand in hand. We know our students, we understand their needs and we support them to achieve their personal best.
In recent years, we have proudly strengthened our academic pathways including expansive HPGE initiatives, enriched curriculum opportunities, Explicit Direct Instruction, writing for success frameworks and targeted support programs across every stage. These initiatives have contributed to increased student engagement, improved outcomes and growing community confidence in our school.
Our partnerships with families, local primary schools, community organisations and external agencies are central to the success of IHS. Together, we build strong transition pathways, celebrate diversity and create a sense of connection that reflects the heart of our community.
We are proud of our students, their resilience, creativity, voice and achievements. We are equally proud of our staff who consistently go above and beyond to ensure ‘Every student, every day, in every classroom has access to effective teaching and learning in a safe and supportive learning environment’
