NAPLAN 2018 – Reminder
Dear Parents/Guardians,
This is a reminder that NAPLAN will be held from 15 – 17 May 2018. An information letter was distributed to students earlier in Term 1. A catch-up day is also scheduled for 18 May for any student absent during 15 – 17 May. The test schedule is below:
TUESDAY 15 MAY
Language Conventions
(Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar)
Writing Test
WEDNESDAY 16 MAY
Reading Test
THURSDAY 17 MAY
Numeracy Test
In the numeracy tests, students do not require any measuring tools such as rulers or protractors. In Years 7 and 9 there will be one numeracy test with two parts: Part A calculator is allowed and Part B where calculators are not to be used. For the calculator test, the student should use the calculator that they currently use at school.
Students are reminded to ensure that they bring:
• HB or 2B pencil
• pencil sharpener
• a rubber
• a calculator.
